scenery
The product MVP had just been released. It was time to improve the experience provided. However, as we began to interact with the product, other needs of our users and customers emerged..

challenge
As an outsourced company from B2W Digital, and being a big tech company, it was essential to be in constant alignment between teams.

approach
In a development squad, we work in an agile way on the product. Using the Scrum methodology, we understood that a waterfall structure was needed between design and development. That is, the Sprint Review, meant the handoff of the screens that were built in design, to be ‘estimated’, for the next development sprint. During the sprint, I followed what was being developed, clearing up any doubts that might arise. So we established a weekly ceremony, called Design Review, where we reviewed the front-end. With B2W, in addition to the Sprint Review and Planning ceremonies, we had a Touchpoint in the middle of the sprint, to maintain a weekly alignment between the internal and external teams.

result
After almost a year of working as the sole designer on the Live product, I was able to participate in the development of several features and even in the complete transition of the product to the new version, with a vertical design. Working in a squad, directly with the developers, allowed me to learn about mobile development, native components, and the differences between Android and iOS platforms. The product became a reference in the sector, and the number of users grew immensely, with lives reaching more than 1 million participants.
